Yahoo and MSN are much faster to accept new sites and pages, usually within 20 days.

Google is much slower in search listings.
This is traditional: Google puts more weight on temporary factors, and needs to build trust in a site before giving it higher rankings, mainly due to spam reasons. A side affect of this is that Google may not always see the most recent and unique content, especially when that content is just published.

Recently i have noticed that Google increased the speed of crawling and indexing.

Listing becomes especially fast (sometimes just few hours!) if website is blog and/or forum based: the combination of the existing trust, and the knowledge that the content on these sites is constantly changing is causing Google to look at these sites with much greater frequency than the norm.
